the process

  • Step 1: Understand

Step 1 is to understand your current outdoor space and your expectations for it. To start your design journey with us, please click on the button below and complete our initial design enquiry form. Once we have received your initial responses we will get back in touch with you and send you over our more detailed design brief along with our terms and conditions to enable us to understand your needs and aspirations. All responses are confidential and we never share your personal information.

  • Step 2: Measure

Step 2 begins with creating a scaled plan of your garden based on H M Land Registry’s file held for your property. On the plan we will mark up all the dimensions that we need you to confirm and highlight any other information we may require, eg tree size/position, manhole covers etc.

Along-side confirming the measurements we will also need you to take lots of photos of your garden from various angles ideally at different times of day, we have also found client videos of their existing garden really useful. For an additional fee, and dependent upon your location, we can arrange a site visit to assist with this process.

  • Step 3: design

Step 3 gets to grips with the design itself. Once we have received your design brief, the confirmed the measurements and photos, we will start the design process. Typically this takes around two weeks. We will send you a secure link to our website where you can view a 3D visualisation of your proposed design and accompanying video walk through. At this point you can make up to two alterations (if required) at no additional cost. Once we have discussed these, we will produce the final design. This iterative process puts you at the heart of your design, ensuring that it will deliver all the elements that you are looking for in your garden whilst aiming to be sustainable and environmentally friendly. Once the design is complete, it will be emailed to you with the 3D visualisation.

  • Step 4: Build

Step 4 is to implement the design. If you are the hands-on type then you may choose to upgrade your package by adding a choice of packs to facilitate the build:

    • a construction drawing pack for the various elements within your design

    • a planting pack which provides a detailed planting plan

    • a materials pack that specifies materials and quantities.

Alternatively you may choose to outsource the build.
